This Privacy Policy explains how 605media LLC ("605media," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Frederick, Maryland, collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit 605media.net, contact us, or text with Sadie, our Director of Marketing & PR. We've written it in plain language. If anything is unclear, just ask us.
Information We Collect
We only collect information that you give us or that is needed to run our site and services:
- Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number when you email us, fill out a form on our site (such as a software download request), or text us.
- Messages you send us: the content of emails, form submissions, and text messages you send to 605media or to Sadie.
- Basic technical information: like most websites, our web server may record standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.
605media.net does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics services. Our site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers to download them; Google's handling of that request is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions and inquiries.
- Schedule meetings and calls with you.
- Send service-related follow-ups about projects, products, or requests you've made.
- Operate Sadie, our Director of Marketing & PR, so she can answer your questions and help with scheduling.
- Deliver software or files you request, and keep our site secure and working properly.
We do not sell your personal information.
Text Messaging (SMS)
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you opt in to text messages from 605media (for example, by texting START to (240) 658-8022), we use your phone number and messages only to provide the messaging service you asked for: conversations with Sadie, scheduling updates, and follow-ups.
Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent are not shared with any third parties. Text messages are handled through our messaging provider, Twilio, solely to deliver the service.
Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. See our SMS Terms for full details.
About Sadie
Sadie is an AI assistant, not a human. When you chat with Sadie, your messages may be processed by AI service providers in order to generate her responses. We use these providers only to operate Sadie, and not to market to you. Please don't send Sadie sensitive information such as passwords, financial account numbers, or health information.
How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate our business, such as our hosting provider, our email provider, our messaging provider (Twilio), and the AI service providers that power Sadie. They may use your information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety. These categories exclude mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent, which are never shared with third parties.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Your Choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- Email us to ask what information we have about you, or to correct or delete it.
Children's Privacy
Our site and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
